Construction has resumed!
O.k. so many might have noticed that construction on our new sanctuary hasn't exactly gone according to plan.
For several months this last Fall, Riverwood was forced to temporarily halt construction as the bank that we had originally believed would complete our loan took an unfortunate and disappointing change of direction (if you were here at our congregational meeting last month, our former treasurer of the deacons, Warren Brown, went into much more detail on this). Within the last two weeks though, the Lord has graciously provided for us a bank who could complete our loan, Robertson Bank, and construction has resumed. We are hoping that the sanctuary will be complete in late May or early June. Please continue to pray for this current major part of God's work at Riverwood and that he would continue to stir in the hearts of his people a gracious heart that we be eager to give to this particular need at Riverwood.
