Campaign Preparations
Going to church lately, you notice quite a few physical changes. Our property has been plundered. The parking lot requires some manuevering. Children have to be warned to stay away from the dirt. What's next?
The Updates section, specifically, is for members of the Campaign and Building teams to shed some light on news related to the building project and the stewardship campaign.
The members of these two teams include: Jimmy Hopper, Allen Powers, Warren Brown, Clay Staggs, Lora Locklear, Steve Patridge, Eric Venable, Chris Locklear, Peggy Drinkard, Sarah Vander Wal, and myself.
For now, on behalf of these teams, I ask for prayer. Prayer for the church that we will be mindful of our overarching vision. Prayer for the church leadership in making decisions. Prayer for the details that many individuals have to put together for events like the groundbreaking ceremony. Pray...for all of the little threads to come together to be sewn into a tapestry that will allow Riverwood to continue to promote the gospel as we know it.
