Evidently E! Entertainment Television was captivated by The Way’s rendition of “The Renewed Mind is the Key”. The Friday, September 19th broadcast:
I realize that unbelievers can’t identify the best parts of the Redemptive story(except, perhaps, moralism), but they sure can recognize the worst.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t as shocked by the video as I should have been. Maybe that is because I was subjected to way too many episodes of The Lawrence Welk Show while visiting my grandparents. I am guessing that this was the Christian response to that show, which makes it even more sad. All the more reason I think Paul C. Payne was right when he said that the world does not take the church seriously because the church is not serious.
